Confidentiality
All my services are confidential. Your identity, personal details and the information given by you in therapy sessions will be protected and only shared with a supervisor unless you give written permission or I am required to do so by Law. The only exceptions I will make are when I judge that there is risk of terrorism or a serious risk to yourself or others. This also includes disclosure of risk to children by people other than you. In the rare event that I break confidentiality this will be done where possible with your consent and involvement.
I aim at all times to be fair, honest and true, to treat all creeds, genders and orientations with respect, understanding and empathy.
I have supervision as required by The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
My aim is to offer a confidential facility in a safe and comfortable environment; to enable you to talk through and explore difficulties, emotional discomfort or situations of crisis with acceptance and support, guiding and accompanying you through a process of regeneration of ‘self’ – a state of mind that allows evaluation, healing and growth. |
